Single-player runs use the local simulation and are selected separately from the networked FFA, TDM, WAR, and PVE rooms. They are useful for learning controls and testing a hull without depending on a server population, but their rules are not identical to multiplayer authority.

Tutorial

The tutorial walks through movement, waypoint navigation, primary fire, target practice, docking, building an Engine, buying an upgrade and skill, building and arming a Weapon Bay, rearming, repair, dragging a module, launching, using the skill, firing a Rocket, and expanding the minimap. Completion is tracked as a 17-step flow.

Sandbox

Sandbox is an open-ended local test room. Its action panel can spawn regular enemies or any of the three bosses, toggle invincibility and a wide camera, restore the current ship, and clear hostiles. It does not impose a score limit, core objective, or wave ending.

PVE Skirmish

PVE Skirmish continuously spawns local Skiffs and Heavies around the player. Each spawn is 75% likely to be a Skiff and 25% likely to be a Heavy. The interval begins at 2.2 seconds and falls with elapsed time to a 0.8-second floor, while at most 12 enemies can be alive. There is no allied base core: the run ends when the player's ship is destroyed.

Campaign status

Campaign appears in the selector so its future place is visible, but pressing launch currently returns an under-development message and does not start a run. It should not be described as a playable mode until that launch gate is removed.
